More Inspiration

I had just finished the snow globe, when the new 3D Total speed modelling challenge was issued. This was for a fireplace. I found an image of a rather interesting rotating fireplace on the Internet, so I decided to have a go at modelling it in Blender.
(Update) I got an Honourable Mention for this model

When I had finished the fireplace I decided to create a room to put it in, so I modeled the room setting and all of the contents, basically to get up to speed again with Blender, and also to practice my 3D modelling.

I am quite please with the result. Blender has become a very powerful piece of software, which is under constant development and it is absolutely free.
