I downloaded Blender 2.57 stable version the other day
and decided to create a new image with it. I had been playing around with a
new design for a coffee table in Carrara 7 Pro, a few days earlier and had
come up with a table similar to this one but lower and wider. I was getting
frustrated because I coudn't get the edges of the glass top to look smooth. I decided to remodel the whole thing in Blender. I had it finished and was attempting to move it when I grabbed the wrong handle and stretched it vertically. Serendipty, it looked more like an outside table, so that is what it became. I just built the scene around it, modified the table slightly to create the stools, and then just kept adding bits till it looked reasonable.
