Once I had managed to grasp the completely different way of working that Blender requires, and had done the usual experimental renders of cubes, spheres, cylinders etc. I decided to try a complete model.

I had just found out how to use the warp tool to bend a cube shape by bending a large flat cube. Hmm, I thought, that looks a bit like a arched roof. So that is what it became. I just built the rest of the structure under it, creating the ground last! isn't virtual reality wonderful?

When it was finished it looked like the sort of thing that you see next to a swimming pool, a change room/sauna thingy. So that is what it became. I am hoping to come back to it when I find the time and model the rest, pool, garden, fence etc.
