I have been playing around recently, trying to find a way of creating trees that look reasonable, but are fairly easy to create. I have just about got to the stage where I can create the effect I am looking for, and even more importantly, can do it more than once. Some of my early attempts looked fairly good, but I couldn't remember exactly how I had achieved them.
